Stardust, Starbright will you be my doggie tonight? Handsome gentle soul little boy dog. Lhasa Apso Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Corona, California

Rescue amazes me because I see abuse that I know had to torture an innocent dog. I have written on my hand, "Don't hurt anybody, its against the law."

Stardust this gorgeous little boy, Lhasa Apso/Mimi Poodle mix was starved for love. When we got him

he was hungry but afraid to eat, and petrified of everything. He had been hurt, and just had no idea who to trust. A few days later Shadow arrived, a Schipperke / Schnauzer who had been in a much similar situation. Within minutes these two were bonded. I did make sure that there was plenty of toys, food, beds, treats, and love and little by little I saw them sleeping together and playing together, and trusting us too.

Both dogs get very possessive and we have to be careful who adopts them. I don't like the idea of kids . . . .heres why. Each dog adores kids, but if living with kids and the kids friends show up and the house holds a lot of commotion, these dogs get afraid. Its just overwhelming to them. Neither dog is angry but each hold gentle hearts. They need a very quiet home, kind of like me! .

Each dog is absolutely adorable and stunning lookers, we just want the perfect home, and for someone gone, well these two together are best friends.

Lhasa Apso:

The Lhasa Apso is a non-sporting dog breed originating in Tibet. It was bred as an interior sentinel in the Buddhist monasteries, to alert the monks to any intruders who entered. Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet, and apso is a word in the Tibetan language meaning "bearded", so, Lhasa Apso simply means "long-haired Lhasa dog". There are, however, some who claim that the word "apso" is a form of the Tibetan word "rapso", meaning "goat-like", which would make the equivalent translation "wooly Lhasa dog".

Poodle: The poodle is a group of formal dog breeds, the Standard Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Toy Poodle. The origins of the poodles are still discussed with a dispute over whether the poodle descends from the old French Barbet breed or from Germany as a type of water dog, however at the creation of the standard, Germany officially recognised the Poodle as a dog originating from France.

Ranked second most intelligent dog breed just behind the Border Collie,[8] the poodle is skillful in many dog sports and activities, including agility, obedience, tracking to herding, circus performers or assistance dogs. Poodles have taken top honors in many conformation shows, including "Best in Show" at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 1991 and 2002, and at the World Dog Show in 2007 and 2010.

Toy Poodles won "Best in Show" at Crufts in 1966 and 1982. Standard Poodles achieved the award in 1955, 1985, 2002, and 2014. The 2002 winner came from Norway and was the first overseas exhibit to win the Crufts best in show award

Schipperke:
Their small, pointed ears are erect atop the head. Schipperkes are double coated with a soft, fluffy undercoat that is covered by a harsher-feeling and longer outer coat. One of the breed characteristics is a long ruff that surrounds the neck and then a strip trails down towards the rear of the dog. They also have longer fur on their hind legs called culottes. The breed is black, or blonde (some blondes have a silkier coat), and the coat is shiny.

Dogs of this breed usually weigh 39 kg (6.619.8 lb). Puppies are born with tails in different lengths. In Canada and the United States, the tail is usually docked the day after birth. In countries that have bans on docking, Schipperkes display their natural tails, which vary in type.

Known for a stubborn, mischievous, and headstrong temperament, it also chases small animals. The Schipperke is sometimes referred to as the "little black fox", the "Tasmanian black devil", or the "little black devil". They are naturally curious and high-energy dogs and require ample exercise and supervision. Schipperkes are very smart and independent; and sometimes debate listening to owners, instead choosing to do whatever benefits them the most, and are not necessarily the proper dog for a first-time dog owner. Schipperkes require training and a secure, fenced-in space to run.

Otherwise they are overall good dogs, and their personality is a matter of how they are raised, and who they are around. They often have a high prey drive, focusing on rodents and small animals, and can excel at obedience and agility competitions.[2]

Schnauzer: Stocky, robust little dogs standing 12 to 14 inches, Miniature Schnauzers were bred down from their larger cousins, Standard Schnauzers. The bushy beard and eyebrows give Minis a charming, human-like expression. The hard, wiry coat comes in three color patterns: salt and pepper, black and silver, and solid black. Created to be all-around farm dogs and ratters, they are tough, muscular, and fearless without being aggressive.

The Miniature Schnauzer is a bright, friendly, trainable companion, small enough to adapt to apartment life but tireless enough to patrol acres of farmland. They get along well with other animals and kids. Minis are sturdy little guys and enjoy vigorous play. Home and family oriented, they make great watchdogs.
